About the position

The Sr. Developer - Java / GCP position is focused on designing, developing, and implementing software solutions within the Supply Chain domain. The role requires a strong background in full stack development, particularly using Java, GCP, and MongoDB, and involves working on complex software systems and integrations. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern development practices and tools, and will be expected to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software fixes and improvements.
• Write interfaces using Java, GCP, GKE, and MongoDB.
• Apply modern software development paradigms such as CI/CD and agile methodologies.
• Work collaboratively within a team, including virtual teams across multiple sites.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in design, development, and implementation of scalable software systems.
• Proficiency in Java, GCP, GKE, and MongoDB.
• Experience with development tools such as Eclipse, Gitlab, CI/CD, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of JSON messaging and web services (SOAP & REST).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management, including Logistics, WMS, and Inventory Management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Crunchtime and Blue Yonder Forecasting and Replenishment.
• Familiarity with Terraform.
