About the position

The Sr. Developer - Mobility iOS position at IRIS Consulting Corporation involves leading a team focused on developing iOS native applications. The role emphasizes mentoring team members, ensuring agile practices are followed, and delivering innovative solutions to meet business needs. The candidate will also be responsible for production issue management, release support, and maintaining the project backlog while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team working on iOS native applications by helping them identify solutions to business needs
• Mentor and help mature the agile-team in on-time and on-budget execution, while still delivering innovative and efficient solutions for our customers
• Production issue triage and prevention as needed, release management support from a technical standpoint, and overall backlog maintenance
• Recruiting, mentoring, and retaining the industry best talent for the team
• Research and Development of POCs, innovative new ideas for customer interactions with Delta
• Drive work using industry leading agile practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• 7+ Years of Swift, Kotlin or other mobile development language but must be willing to work in Swift/iOS and Kotlin
• Experience in MR/VR and AR technologies
• Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, Recommendation Systems, Audio Processing and GenAI
• Knowledge of working in AWS/Azure is required
• A good understanding of Agile Methodology is required
• Must have the ability to work well with others in a time sensitive and team environment with minimal supervision, be results oriented and capable of meeting deadlines with attention to detail and follow through
• Experienced with visual design tools such as Figma
• Experience and familiarity presenting to technical audiences

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency with languages such as Python, Java
• Familiarity with building and integrating with GenAI and Client models
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
