About the position

The Sr. Developer - Mobility iOS position at Horizontal Talent is designed for an experienced professional with a strong background in computer science or engineering, focusing on mobile development. This role involves leading a team in creating iOS native applications, mentoring team members, and driving innovative solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile development languages and technologies, particularly in Swift and Kotlin, and will be responsible for ensuring the team's successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team working on iOS native applications, identifying solutions to business needs
• Mentor the agile team, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution
• Handle production issue triage and prevention as needed, provide release management support from a technical standpoint, and maintain the overall backlog
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top industry talent for the team
• Conduct research and development of POCs, and drive innovative new ideas for customer interactions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in Swift, Kotlin, or other mobile development languages
• Willingness to work in Swift/iOS and Kotlin
• Experience in MR/VR and AR technologies
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, Recommendation Systems, Audio Processing, and GenAI
• Knowledge of working in AWS/Azure
• Understanding of Agile Methodology
• Experience with visual design tools such as Figma
• Ability to present to technical audiences

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Java
• Familiarity with GenAI and ML models
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React
• Knowledge of database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
