About the position

The Sr. Developer - Mobility iOS Consultant position at Genesis10 involves leading the development of innovative features for the client's iOS native application, aimed at enhancing the customer-facing mobile platform in the transportation industry. This role is pivotal in driving technical solutions, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality delivery of software solutions while adhering to agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Build innovative features on the iOS native application supporting the client's customer-facing mobile platform.
• Define technical solutions that create resilient and automated systems, ensuring defect-free delivery with a focus on reusability, reliability, and quality.
• Collaborate closely with technical architects and squad team members to enhance customer experience.
• Lead a team working on iOS native applications, identifying solutions to business needs.
• Mentor the agile team for on-time and on-budget execution while delivering innovative solutions.
• Manage production issue triage, release management support, and overall backlog maintenance.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent for the team.
• Conduct research and development of POCs and innovative ideas for customer interactions.
• Drive work using industry-leading agile practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective C.
• Familiarity with design patterns such as MVP, MVC, and MVVM.
• Experience with XCUITest and XCTest frameworks.
• Proficient in Swift Packages and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of functional programming and reactive patterns using Combine.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
