About the position
The Senior Developer, Strategic Product Engineering at Sparks Group will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining applications while supporting the migration to cloud-based computing. This position requires a strong background in software development and problem-solving skills to address complex production issues and contribute to the development of strategic products.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to new development, maintenance, and support efforts for RTP and other strategic products.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues at levels 3 and 4.
- Conduct thorough investigations to identify the underlying causes of production problems.
- Assist in the implementation of releases, upgrades, and maintenance testing.
- Provide training and guidance to specific teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of related IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing, and testing of software systems in Java, Spring, J2EE App servers on Red Hat Linux, UNIX, or AIX.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Sound RDBMS concepts and SQL skills.
