About the position

This position requires a skilled Azure Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in Azure services and DevOps practices. The role focuses on managing and optimizing Azure infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teams to enhance operational efficiency and provide expertise in various Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure and services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform.
• Utilize Azure monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
• Provide expertise on Azure IaaS/PaaS services including Application Gateway, API Management, and Azure Monitor.
• Configure Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with security practices including FISMA HIGH and FedRAMP HIGH standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
• Strong understanding of Azure security practices.
• Competence in Linux OS.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred.
• Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and/or Zero Trust Architecture.
• Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-204, and AZ-400.
