About the position

The Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer position at GeoLogics Corporation is a critical role that involves working with a Matrix Infrastructure to upgrade Cloud, Network, and Data systems. This position requires a blend of hands-on engineering work, documentation, and baseline control. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the transition of systems, assisting with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines. The role aims to optimize cloud-based computing environments, improve scalability, consistency, and infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management. In this role, you will collaborate with agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions while integrating security and compliance into the platform through services such as encryption and access management. Additionally, you will provide operational support for the platform, ensuring that it meets the required standards and functions effectively. This position is based in Aurora, CO, and requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Counter Intelligence Polygraph. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience with cloud-based technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Commercial Cloud Services (C2S). Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and RedHat Linux is essential, along with experience in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, and Go. Meeting the DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements is also a prerequisite for this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Counter Intelligence Polygraph security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Over 5 years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS/Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Proficiency in RedHat Linux
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
  • Experience with scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Fortify, Anchore)
  • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
