QTEC Aerospace is seeking a SR. DEVSECOPS ENGINEER to join our team of professionals in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government in support of a Missile Defense System (MDS) with a mission of protecting the United States and our allies. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have a proven track record, and a positive work ethic. In this role, the SR. DEVSECOPS ENGINEER will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The position requires a strong background in system security, familiarity with Linux fundamentals, and experience with various compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 14 years of professional experience or at least 12 years with a related master's degree. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining large engineering COTS applications in secure, air-gapped environments. This includes hardening deployments according to DISA STIGs and SRGs, as well as implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the candidate will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare presentations for customers as needed.
