About the position

The role focuses on executing marketing operations for the Audible program, enhancing content visibility, and ensuring high-quality publication standards. The associate will be responsible for proofreading, editing, and managing catalog and digital marketing activities while adhering to operational metrics and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various activities related to the Audible program and execute marketing operations to improve visibility.
  • Read content, correct spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors, and proofread and edit stories.
  • Establish publication standards and ensure the accuracy and quality of content.
  • Write and modify content, including blurbs, reports, and articles on a daily basis.
  • Recommend stories and produce headline ideas to attract the target audience.
  • Quickly understand marketing tools and operation workflow tools.
  • Continuously adapt and learn new features to improve content editing skills.
  • Follow editing SOP to spot and catch errors in the content.
  • Be aware of operations metrics like productivity, quality, and delivery/latency SLA.
  • Manage day-to-day work related to catalog management and digital marketing.
  • Understand digital marketing strategies and metrics for measuring success.
  • Manage special projects from planning through execution.
  • Define new business practices and standard operating procedures in an ambiguous environment.
  • Create and drive business requirements for process improvement and technical solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to inform recommended strategies that meet operating goals.
  • Contact stakeholders globally to provide status reports and communicate relevant information.
  • Create and schedule standalone campaigns to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Optimize content campaigns through testing and data analysis, documenting results and sharing best practices.
  • Analyze data to identify customer segmentation strategies.
  • Craft, execute, and build playbooks and SOPs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in catalog management or digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and scalable solutions.
  • Goal-driven and target-oriented with a big-picture perspective.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment driven by complex software systems and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail in editing content and identifying root causes of issues.
  • Good problem-solving, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills related to content editing.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Good interpersonal skills to manage relationships with software and inter-operations teams.
  • Working knowledge of XML standards.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Understanding of other Indian languages, media, and movies/series.
  • Knowledge of macros to generate reports.
  • Experience in the publishing industry.
