About the position

The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager at Neurocrine Biosciences is responsible for strategizing, designing, and implementing digital marketing best practices across various web properties. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience and marketing effectiveness through advanced web strategies, SEO, SEM, and data-driven campaigns. The position collaborates with brand leads and the marketing team to develop a comprehensive multi-channel marketing plan, ensuring impactful patient and physician journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, design and optimize best-in-class web marketing strategies for brand teams.
  • Design and contribute to the digital marketing team roadmap and its growing set of capabilities.
  • Create compliant, efficient and impactful patient and physician journeys using analytics tools.
  • Manage search engine optimization strategies and SEM campaigns across multiple websites.
  • Examine the effectiveness of current web drivers including banners, email, and social media posts.
  • Leverage customer segmentation and analytics to maximize audience engagement and conversion rates.
  • Partner with brand teams to develop and execute marketing objectives.
  • Manage agency and vendor support through strong project management and communication skills.
  • Perform other digital marketing duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business or related field and 8+ years of relevant digital marketing experience, specifically in web design, UX, content marketing and SEO.
  • Proven results with planning, execution and optimization of digital marketing programs in healthcare or life sciences OR Master's or MBA Preferred and 5+ years of similar experience.
  • Ability to anticipate business and industry changes and recommend relevant improvements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing within a pharmaceutical or biotech organization.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage complex timelines across various projects with high accuracy and efficiency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expert knowledge of web user design and SEO within a highly regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in content marketing and content development for healthcare.
  • Demonstrated skills in search engine marketing, display and/or other forms of paid media.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation and CRM integration.
