About the position

The Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist at Shriners Children's plays a crucial role in executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns across various digital platforms. This position collaborates closely with the Digital Marketing Director and other team members to support philanthropic initiatives, patient acquisition, and member recruitment through effective digital channels. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and technical expertise in digital marketing tools and content management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to align digital marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing department and other internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to execute digital marketing initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members and other staff as needed.
  • Manage and support content development for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and blogs.
  • Ensure content adheres to accuracy, style guidelines, and SEO best practices; make necessary copy edits.
  • Support content creation utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Assist in developing and updating web pages using various CMS tools.
  • Support the creation of landing pages and personalization components to enhance digital advertising campaigns.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, social media, and display networks.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Support the implementation of digital marketing campaigns and cloud-based applications used to achieve various marketing objectives.
  • Manage and support digital marketing projects and campaigns from concept through implementation.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital marketing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Report project timelines, benchmarks and performance to key stakeholders.
  • Integrate various digital marketing applications to streamline workflows and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement and maintain integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to application integrations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
  • Report on campaign performance and support data management practices.
  • Use data and insights to identify areas for improvement and inform future strategies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Social Media Project Manager to develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Monitor campaign and project performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Design and support the execution of email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive customer engagement.
  • Identify audience segmentation and personalize content to enhance relevance and effectiveness.
  • Analyze email performance and optimize for higher open and click-through rates.
  • Work with Web Project Manager to identify areas of improvement to enhance user experience, improving conversion metrics.
  • Oversee website content development and special projects.
  • Coordinate with web developers to implement new features and functionalities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Experience with email marketing.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience.
