About the position

The User Experience (UX) Designer is responsible for analyzing, planning, and sequencing user interactions with software or applications. This role focuses on understanding user needs through research insights and delivering designs that are easy, clear, useful, and pleasing. The UX Designer collaborates with product and engineering teams to create a seamless user experience across various digital platforms, including web and mobile applications, while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze research findings to plan and deliver Use Cases, User Journeys, User Flow Diagrams, Navigation Structures, and Information Architecture.
• Design for various platforms including browsers, responsive web, native apps, smart watches, and health monitoring devices.
• Create and deliver Storyboards, Wireframes, Interface Modules, Prototypes, and Design Specifications.
• Evaluate designs according to project-specific and enterprise standard metrics.
• Collaborate with the Experience Design team to maintain and refine Digital Design Language.
• Facilitate Design Workshops and synthesize divergent ideas into cohesive Design Proposals.
• Provide oversight of vendors assisting with Experience Design scope of work.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience designing for complex internal software.
• 7+ years of UX experience.
• Demonstrated experience with effective user validation techniques.
• Proficiency with rapid wireframe prototyping.
• Delivery of 'ready for dev' user interfaces using Figma and a design system.
• Collaborative and iterative approach to UI design in an agile environment.
• Ability to design simple interfaces with complex data requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Native React experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design, User Experience, Interactive Design, Design and Technology, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or related field.
