About the position

The Sr Digital Product Manager will lead the development of digital products by defining the product roadmap and strategy. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to set quantifiable business goals, understanding customer needs through various analytical methods, and continuously improving the product to enhance customer retention and lifetime value. The position requires strong communication and project leadership skills to ensure seamless product development and launch, while also managing key performance indicators and product backlogs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a digital product by defining the product roadmap and strategy.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify quantifiable business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze customer needs and pain points to drive business growth.
  • Conduct user interviews and analyze internal analytics data to understand guest pain points and opportunities.
  • Create and develop user and buyer personas, along with unique value propositions.
  • Monitor and act on key product analytics to improve retention rates and customer lifetime value.
  • Write feature briefs that synthesize guest and business needs into a cohesive strategy.
  • Develop and review comprehensive user stories with functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Lead and maintain feature and backlog development, attending planning ceremonies to drive priority decisions.
  • Collaborate with User Experience Designers, engineering, marketing, operations, and executive stakeholders for product development and launch.
  • Regularly communicate progress, blockers, developments, risks, and issues impacting the project.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital product or relevant experience; minimum of 3 years in the digital industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to define technical and user requirements with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering requirements with Gherkin Acceptance Criteria.
  • Strong analytics and quantitative skills; ability to leverage data for project scope and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with technical, user, and business issues in a fast-paced digital organization.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and project leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and achieve results through others, building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable working with bi-coastal and international teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Object Oriented UX.
  • Experience using hypothesis driven design.
  • Operations experience in the Theme Park Industry.
  • Experience in digital analytics, comfortable with SQL.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Tableau.
  • 2+ years working on products leveraging Natural Language Understanding, Machine Learning, or Dynamic User Personalization.
