Benjamin Moore is currently seeking a Sr. Product Owner to join our Digital Products team at our Corporate Headquarters in Montvale, NJ. This key role will help manage a portfolio of digital products with a best-in-class digital customer experience, specifically focusing on enhancing the e-commerce experience across all channels. Working with a cross-functional team of business partners, engineering and marketing talent, you will help define high-value product offerings through an agile and innovative product development process. The role requires that the individual be a self-starter with demonstrated skills managing internal and 3rd party teams responsible for innovative product development.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in defining the strategic direction of various digital platforms, focusing on improving the e-commerce customer journey and driving online sales growth.
  • Understand and represent the customer's problems as well as the business's goals and objectives, focusing on the needs and pain points of online shoppers.
  • Envision, articulate and size new product enhancements designed to achieve a remarkable experience for customers, particularly in e-commerce.
  • Prioritize and manage product backlogs, sprints and releases in agile/scrum workflow in collaboration with digital and IT teams.
  • Clearly communicate strategy and goals to project teams and work closely with technology and design teams to develop new features.
  • Gather and unearth business opportunities through research, data analysis, user experience analysis and testing, and competitive research.
  • Identify key KPIs for both customer and business impact, focusing on e-commerce metrics such as conversion rates and online sales growth.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, engineering and marketing teams to define the vision, strategy and roadmap for digital products.
  • Actively participate in the development of the Digital Experience Ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with other POs during weekly PO sync to manage dependencies across Agile teams.
  • Manage the product backlog and release planning, participate in system demo and iteration retrospective.
  • Guide Product Owners and Business SMEs through UAT.
  • Lead user research to identify product enhancements and opportunities, focusing on improving the e-commerce experience.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, influence higher-level decisions, mentor team members and help develop product management processes.

Requirements

  • Experience working with stakeholders, managing expectations and balancing competing priorities.
  • Experience in omni-channel product development - desktop, tablet and mobile.
  • Strong business and experience mindset with the ability to set strategic priorities, focusing on driving e-commerce growth.
  • Proven experience in product development, user experience design, customer journeys, and product lifecycle management.
  • Continuous understanding and exploration of customer's needs, particularly online shoppers.
  • Data-driven with experience defining and tracking metrics/KPIs for decision making.
  • Passionate and empathetic to provide a better customer experience in e-commerce.
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce business domain.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile as a Business SME or Product Owner.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile tools and technologies (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Certified SAFe POPM (Preferred).
  • Excellent project management, organizational, time management, judgment, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and deliver critical, enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Ability to set and meet long-term goals and maintain high-quality work standards.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, effectively prioritize, and execute tasks under pressure.
  • BS degree is required.
  • Experience with B2C and B2B Digital Commerce and Marketing Technology platforms (Highly desirable).
