About the position

The Sr. Digital Product Program Manager in Upstream Marketing at Medtronic is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance awareness, engagement, and growth for digital product offerings. This role involves understanding customer insights, collaborating with development teams to create and test product concepts, and formulating go-to-market strategies for commercial launches. A strong grasp of digital marketing, product management, and customer insights is essential to align marketing efforts with business objectives and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for digital products, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences to influence product development.
  • Work closely with product management, sales, design, and development teams to ensure alignment on product features, benefits, and customer feedback.
  • Develop customer personas and journey maps to enhance customer engagement and ensure a seamless experience throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing claims and value propositions to influence marketing campaign development and content creation with the downstream marketing team.
  • Manage the marketing budget for digital products, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing, digital product marketing, or digital program management, preferably within a medical device or digital product environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital products, solutions, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and marketing automation software.
