About the position

Reworld is seeking a Sr. Director for Commercial Governance and Sales Excellence. This strategic role involves leading the company's commercial governance and sales initiatives at a corporate level, developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with governance policies, and managing a team of professionals. The position requires collaboration with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to align on strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance data, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and regulations, including sales processes, pricing, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement sales excellence initiatives to improve sales performance and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a team of professionals to execute sales strategies and ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and regulations.
  • Evaluate adoption of a best-in-class CRM and customer portal that aligns with a contemporary commercial function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment and consistency in sales and governance processes.
  • Develop and maintain sales-related documentation, including sales contracts, proposals, and sales reports.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on sales operations and governance issues.
  • Develop strategic and tactical strategies for contract negotiations with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for both the company and the customer.
  • Define targeted market penetration areas that match with priority value propositions of the company.
  • Establish an empowered deal hub to enable contract underwriting and reduce proposal cycle times.
  • Redefine existing commercial processes to align with new regional structure with a focus on speed and compliance.
  • Attract and develop key talent, manage performance, and plan for succession in commercial talent.
  • Provide guidance on the professional development of SMEs within the region/sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or Science plus a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales and Commercial functions.
  • Prior experience in establishing a commercial center of excellence for an industrial company with multiple product lines.
  • Strong understanding and prior experience in the design and implementation of CRM tools for large industrial companies.
  • Proficient in the use of CRM tools.
  • Prior experience in driving commercial simplification and standardization to enhance process efficiency.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data to identify trends.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills with experience communicating across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading large high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, data, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • LEAN/Six Sigma certification.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong project management skills.
