About the position

The Senior Director of Product & Program Management at Salesforce will lead the AI and Data activation program for the Global Private Equity & VC Practice. This role focuses on delivering the Salesforce platform's capabilities to Private Equity-owned portfolio companies, driving strategic initiatives, and enhancing customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in program and product management, particularly in AI, and will be responsible for defining vision, strategy, and success tracking for Salesforce Excellence programs.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own vision, strategy, and delivery for Salesforce Excellence programs, including Agentforce Activation.
  • Engage with portfolio company CxOs and key Private Equity operating partner stakeholders to define enterprise architecture strategies.
  • Advise on program/project strategies regarding enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform.
  • Drive the creation of application and technical design documents that integrate Salesforce into customer infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Product and Engineering to address customer roadblocks and drive solutions.
  • Review and correct project/program direction to keep programs on track and solutions maintainable.
  • Identify and proactively handle risk areas and commit to resolution.
  • Oversee the development of playbooks to document solutions, effort, and ROI impact in the language of private equity.
  • Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions and industry events.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Program and Product Management experience with highly technical products/platforms.
  • Experience defining and building AI platforms and capabilities focused on end-to-end ML lifecycle.
  • Extensive experience with configuration and customization on the Salesforce platform.
  • Authority level experience defining system architecture landscape and delivering comprehensive solutions.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Deep experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into a practical product roadmap.
  • Experience driving collaborations within the company and with external partners.
