About the position

The Sr Director of Business Operations is responsible for leading the Business Operations department, ensuring standards around customer profitability, pricing, contracts, and equipment investments are upheld. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of performance metrics and tools, contributing to the organization's business strategy, and managing multiple teams of professionals to align with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate actual results against expected performance and communicate areas for improvement.
• Establish, evaluate, and implement performance metrics for functions supervised.
• Measure and analyze actual performance and make recommendations for improving profitability.
• Review and analyze forecasts and recommend changes where appropriate.
• Direct training and education to Managers on metrics and tools to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to propose and manage creative solutions for improving coordination, collaboration, and communication.
• Coordinate and drive cross-functional initiatives, proactively identifying dependencies and driving issues to resolution.
• Develop and manage budget and expenses.
• Collaborate with other operational departments to ensure resources are available to support daily needs and special projects.
• Hire, train, evaluate, coach, and counsel staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Experience in building high-performance teams
• Proficient in forecast analysis
