About the position

The Sr. Director, Finance Transformation will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of financial processes across the organization. This role will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations to support our business objectives. The Sr. Director will work closely with senior leadership, finance, operations, and IT teams to drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and deliver long-term value through sustainable financial practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial process improvement strategy aligned with the company's business goals and financial objectives.
  • Provide leadership in transforming and modernizing financial systems, processes, and operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives and key stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and enhanced profitability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in analyzing, designing, and implementing financial process improvements across accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Champion the use of technology and automation tools to streamline financial processes, reduce manual interventions, and improve overall workflow efficiency.
  • Identify best practices, benchmarks, and process reengineering opportunities to align with industry standards.
  • Oversee the integration of financial systems with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.), ensuring seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
  • Lead efforts in system upgrades and new system implementations to improve financial data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure proper governance and controls are embedded in all process changes to mitigate risk.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial processes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and systems across the organization.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication, ensuring clear alignment and support for process changes.
  • All other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in financial management, process improvement, or operational leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven experience in process reengineering, financial systems implementation, and large-scale organizational transformations.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) and financial automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and drive actionable insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, managing large teams, and navigating complex organizational structures.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, from senior leadership to operational teams.
