About the position
The Senior Director, Food Safety, Regulatory & Auditing Lead at WK Kellogg Co. is responsible for overseeing all aspects related to food safety, regulatory compliance, and auditing within the organization. This leadership role involves managing both internal and external audits, engaging with regulatory agencies, and being a key member of the Quality leadership team. The position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to drive results while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and food safety across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the food safety, regulatory, and auditing functions for WK Kellogg Co.
- Oversee internal and external audits for manufacturing facilities and suppliers.
- Serve as the primary contact for external regulatory agencies.
- Participate in the Quality leadership team and lead the Incident Management Team.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance food safety culture within the organization.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in food science or related field preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
- Expertise in food safety and regulatory matters.
- Knowledge of microbiology and pathogens.
- Proven ability to lead and develop multifunctional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
