About the position

The Human Resources Technology professional will oversee the vision, strategy, and operations of the global HR technology ecosystem at Charles River. This role involves partnering with HR, IT, and business leadership to design and implement innovative HR solutions that enhance employee experience. The incumbent will act as a thought leader, driving the evolution of the HR technology platform through digital solutions and process improvements, while ensuring operational excellence and scalability within a high-performing culture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the Global HRIS intake and governance board for proposed updates/changes to the HRIS system.
  • Lead a team of 10 full-time employees and contingent staff, managing performance and development.
  • Analyze learning gaps for direct reports and develop growth plans to keep the team engaged and motivated.
  • Develop relationships across all levels of employees, including executive leadership and external vendors.
  • Establish a global vision and roadmap for HRIS execution aligned with business needs and employee experience.
  • Serve as the product owner for the HRIS ecosystem and manage project portfolio alignment with strategic roadmap.
  • Use data to influence decisions and present project updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement modern solutions to reduce manual processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve unexpected issues or process flaws to ensure data integrity.
  • Oversee global HRIS system maintenance, including upgrades and testing.
  • Assist with budget planning and expense management for project resources.
  • Plan and direct change management initiatives related to HRIS system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of SuccessFactors experience with expert proficiency across the talent suite.
  • Minimum 10 years of people management, development, and coaching experience.
  • Certifications in HR and/or Project Management preferred.
