About the position

The Sr. Director of GTM Excellence is a remote leadership role responsible for the implementation and success of the sales annual plan. This position involves collaboration with various teams including sales leadership, sales operations, marketing, and consulting services to enhance pipeline management and drive alignment across sales strategies. The role focuses on increasing pipeline velocity and conversion rates through effective team management and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Own a comprehensive GTM annual plan including alignment of sales and marketing strategies, operational insights and execution.
  • Responsible for hiring, building, and developing a team of GTM Managers.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of GTM Managers to drive consistency, scalability, and higher rates of adoption of sales tools.
  • Architect strategies and sales plays to drive revenue growth and define Sales excellence best practices.
  • Build consistent and effective processes and tools for sales teams to improve data hygiene, forecast accuracy, and pipeline velocity.
  • Analyze overall business performance and identify scaling opportunities and efficiencies for business growth.
  • Establish timelines, project plans, and expectations across stakeholders for leadership reviews and performance updates.
  • Partner with enablement to prioritize training in alignment with sales needs.
  • Own development and administration of rhythm of the business activities such as Weekly Forecast Calls and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Partner with HR to rollout field sales initiatives and with the Director of Enablement to mitigate risks and barriers to change.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Strategy and Planning to execute projects related to the 3-5 year sales roadmap.
  • Lead ad hoc activities to drive GTM Excellence.
  • Oversee the Optiv sales methodologies across all stages of the sales funnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; a related Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in a leadership role within Sales Operations, Strategy & Planning, or PMO, with 5+ years in the IT industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing both direct and indirect reports.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
