About the position

The Senior Director, Head of Creative for Mobile Experience at Samsung Electronics America is a visionary leadership role responsible for reinvigorating the Samsung brand across its mobile portfolio in the US. This position requires a strong passion for storytelling and design, with a focus on developing impactful creative strategies that elevate the Samsung mobile brand. The role involves leading both internal teams and external agency partners to ensure brand consistency and alignment across various marketing channels, while also navigating the complexities of a globally-matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the creative vision for the Samsung Galaxy mobile brand in the US.
  • Spearhead impactful creative strategies and concepts to differentiate the Samsung mobile brand across all marketing channels.
  • Translate global creative vision into culturally relevant strategies for the US market.
  • Develop and activate a Brand Playbook with guidelines for campaigns and channels.
  • Manage the creative process from briefing to execution, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and grow the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Track and set metrics for all creative deliverables across campaigns and channels.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies and production partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of experience in creative leadership for global brands.
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading multidisciplinary creative teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering brand-defining and culture-influential creative work.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate creative strategies effectively.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing in complex organizations.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with an agile mindset.
