About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Head of HR Strategy and Program Management Office and Chief of Staff to the Chief HR Officer (CHRO). This dual role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing expert advisory and consulting support on company, functional, and regional operating model design. This role will also ensure sound execution of HR projects and programs by enhancing strategic alignment and collaboration between global HR centers of excellence and HR business partners. In the capacity of Head of HR Strategy and Program Management Office, you will develop and oversee the HR strategy in close partnership with the CHRO and Global HR Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring it supports business objectives and promotes organizational growth, talent development, and employee engagement. You will provide specialized advisory and consulting support to the executive leadership team on company-wide and functional operating model design, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering organizational agility. You will establish and manage the Program Management Office (PMO) for HR, implementing standardized project management methodologies and frameworks, running HR with clear KPIs to ensure sound execution and change management. Driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives within HR to strengthen processes and systems will be a key focus, leveraging data, AI, and analytics to optimize HR performance and outcomes. You will lead team retrospectives to continuously iterate and improve existing processes, fostering a learning and high-performance culture across the global HR function. As Chief of Staff, you will act as a strategic advisor to the CHRO, assisting in the formulation and execution of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. You will drive communication of priorities, activities, and results to the HR organization to ensure alignment, awareness, and connectivity across the global HR function. This includes coordinating and managing high-priority projects/programs and initiatives on behalf of the CHRO, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and timelines. You will prepare and deliver executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for the CHRO, board of directors, and other key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across HR functions and with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the HR strategy in close partnership with the CHRO and Global HR SLT.
  • Provide specialized advisory and consulting support to the executive leadership team on company-wide and functional operating model design.
  • Establish and manage the Program Management Office (PMO) for HR, implementing standardized project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives within HR to strengthen processes and systems.
  • Lead team retrospectives to continuously iterate and improve existing processes.
  • Prepare 'point of view' briefings and other storytelling on emergent people and culture topics for consideration by the Global HR SLT and the ELT.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CHRO, assisting in the formulation and execution of HR strategies.
  • Drive communication of priorities, activities, and results to the HR organization.
  • Coordinate and manage high-priority projects/programs and initiatives on behalf of the CHRO.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for the CHRO, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across HR functions and with other departments.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer's team and the Chief of Staff to the CEO to ensure strategic alignment of the HR plan.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in senior management consulting roles from a leading, global or multinational consulting firm within the Talent or Organization practice.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in strategy development and program management across complex, large, global organizations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of operating model experience with proven ability to provide strategic advisory and consulting support to executive leadership teams.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives that deliver measurable results.
  • Experience in successfully influencing and persuading senior leadership to champion and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in designing and implementing functional and regional operating models within HR and across business functions.
  • Experience as Chief of Staff is highly desirable.
  • MBA with strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
