About the position

The Sr. Director, HR Strategic Advisor at T-Mobile is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives and leading a team of HR professionals. This position focuses on aligning human capital strategies with business objectives, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive company culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in workforce strategy, organizational design, and change management, contributing to T-Mobile's mission of being a leader in employee and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HR professionals and managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on strategic workforce direction and objectives.
  • Develop and deploy human resource planning models to identify talent gaps.
  • Recommend and implement tools and processes to improve employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the implementation of enterprise HR programs.
  • Own organizational development strategies and facilitate organization design planning.
  • Drive business transformation and culture change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop programs for recruiting, succession planning, and employee development.

Requirements

  • More than 10 years of experience in a similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Extensive experience in people management and HR operations.
  • Experience in strategic planning, workforce planning, and organizational design.
  • Ability to influence and consult across the business.
  • Proficiency in data and trend analysis.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's/Advanced Degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Familiarity with change management strategies.
