The Sr. Director of Injection Machinery Sales for the Western Region is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all sales functions across the Western half of North America. This position is crucial for leading and managing sales teams to achieve or surpass sales revenue, profitability, and budgetary goals. The Sr. Director will engage in strategic planning, people management, and sales execution while leveraging technology to enhance Milacron's market share in the Injection Machinery sector. The role requires the development and implementation of integrated sales strategies that align with the company's operational plans, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and long-term objectives. Additionally, the Sr. Director will be responsible for creating and driving sales forecasts and key performance indicators (KPIs) that contribute to business growth. In this role, the Sr. Director will develop a comprehensive sales strategy that not only meets company objectives but also aligns with customer expectations. Collaboration with various departments such as Plant Operations, New Product Development (NPD), Business Intelligence (BI), Account Management (AM), Quality, and Engineering is essential to efficiently expedite the fulfillment of complex or high-priority sales orders. The Sr. Director will also be tasked with creating sales budgets and forecasts for the Western Region, working closely with the Eastern Region VP to develop a holistic outlook for all of the Americas. Regular evaluation and reporting on sales targets, as well as leading and lagging indicators for the sales team, will be a key responsibility. The Sr. Director will act as a senior leader, setting an example and fostering strong cross-functional relationships within the organization and with customers.
