About the position

The position is responsible for developing the commercial strategy for the Interventional Spine business unit at Boston Scientific, focusing on the Intracept procedure for treating Vertebrogenic Pain. The role involves leading marketing activities, managing a team of marketing professionals, and collaborating with various functions to drive business deliverables and market adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and growing the Intracept procedure to treat Vertebrogenic Pain.
  • Leading the marketing strategy, product pipeline strategy, branding, product positioning, pricing, and market development.
  • Identifying future opportunities and challenges, translating them into multi-year global commercial strategies.
  • Driving the implementation of marketing initiatives to accelerate global market adoption.
  • Measuring business performance against expectations and adjusting strategies to maximize opportunities.
  • Understanding market dynamics and devising counterstrategies against competitors.
  • Directing market research collection and analysis for key business decisions.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Attracting, retaining, and leading a high-performing marketing team.
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality System and promoting a supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 15+ years of relevant medical device experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Leader in Marketing
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Demonstrated experience with disruptive technology adoption in medicine
  • Leadership experience in all major marketing functions.
