The role involves developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the US hip arthroplasty market landscape, which includes analyzing market trends in both implants and technology adoption, understanding customer priorities, and assessing the competitive landscape to craft our go-to-market approach. The individual will be responsible for developing and driving go-to-market plans for the entire US Hip portfolio, which includes various hip technologies such as navigation and impaction. The responsibilities include creating annual marketing plans for the portfolio, which encompass market and competitor analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, portfolio value proposition, key brand messaging, promotional planning, trade show strategy, medical education and product training strategy, sales tool development, digital and web strategy, as well as inventory planning and forecasting for each product category. The individual will annually create and present marketing plans to the VP of US Marketing Ortho and participate in a monthly review of progress while supporting the annual business planning process in collaboration with global marketing, sales management, medical education, sales training, supply planning, and finance teams. Additionally, the role requires building and supervising key performance indicators in the US and leading remediation efforts to drive deeper market penetration of assigned products. The individual will deploy pricing guidelines into the US market, lead the pricing exceptions process, and provide input into pricing decisions. They will also lead all aspects of downstream new product launch execution activities, including channel readiness execution, segment and target customers, building surgeon champions, prioritizing territory roll-outs, identifying inventory needs, planning and implementing local training and road shows, and supporting events as subject matter authorities. Collaboration with the sales team to define and implement effective customer targeting, develop physician champions, and gather input to drive marketing decisions is also essential. The individual will work with Sales Leadership to develop tools and resources to support their efforts on the product lines and with the Medical Education team to develop resources to support customer product training requirements. The role supports industry educational meetings and events, on-site customer meetings and labs, national sales meetings, and other strategic meetings.
