The Sr. Director, National Sales will play a pivotal role in leading the expansion efforts of Generous Brands within the food service channel. This position requires a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach, as the individual will work closely with the VP of Commercial Development to identify untapped markets and develop comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting Generous Brands, which includes well-known products like Bolthouse Farms and Evolution Fresh, while fostering brand loyalty across various marketplaces. In this role, the Sr. Director will develop and implement a sales strategy that targets revenue growth across diverse segments of the food service channel, including airports, business and industry (B&I), colleges, and limited-service restaurants (LSR). The individual will be tasked with identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, leveraging unexplored markets to enhance sales performance. Analyzing market trends and competitor activities will be crucial in identifying growth opportunities and expanding the brand's market presence. Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as distributors, customers, and industry influencers, will be essential for promoting Generous Brands effectively. The Sr. Director will also collaborate with internal business partners, including marketing, operations, finance, and category management, to ensure alignment and achieve overarching company goals. Additionally, the role involves preparing and presenting sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for future strategies. Negotiating funding agreements with distributor partners across all channels of trade will be a critical responsibility, as will coaching and developing a sales team to deliver results by establishing measurable goals by territory and customer. The Sr. Director will also be responsible for developing and executing both short- and long-term plans for portfolio architecture and territory expansion, as well as managing stakeholder relationships with GPOs, foodservice managers, distributors, and customers.
