About the position

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Sr Director of Project Management to join our team in Manhattan, New York. This seasoned professional will have comprehensive, end-to-end experience in tolling, spanning both back-office operations and roadside systems. The role involves leading and managing complex electronic tolling projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of tolling projects, ensuring seamless integration between roadside systems and all interfaces.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation plans, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project performance, implement process improvements, and drive accountability across all stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and guide project managers and team members to foster professional growth and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
• Typically requires minimum of 10 years of experience managing electronic tolling projects, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of both back-office operations and roadside systems to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Strong understanding of tolling technologies, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
