About the position
The Sr. Director of Supply Chain Strategy Transformation and Network Optimization will lead the development and implementation of supply chain transformation strategies across the company. This role focuses on creating a competitive advantage through effective strategy deployment, identifying strategic business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the company's growth plans. The position requires collaboration with senior leadership to drive initiatives that enhance operational performance and customer service while optimizing costs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ideation, development, and materialization of Supply Chain strategies and key strategic initiatives.
- Create an evergreen Supply Chain transformation agenda to stay aligned with customer needs and market trends.
- Orchestrate the overall Supply Chain portfolio of strategic initiatives ensuring timely execution of programs/projects.
- Identify and prioritize potential Supply Chain optimization opportunities to drive cost and performance transformation.
- Lead the global 'Fuel to Grow' Gross Productivity Program Management Office and manage the 3-year Gross productivity Pipeline stage gate process.
- Identify strategic barriers to value and recommend investment enablers for value unlocks.
- Act as a thought-partner to the Supply Chain strategic initiatives portfolio and recommend changes to focus and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement the Network Design Strategy using an analytical approach to enhance business competitiveness.
- Model the end-to-end supply chain network and recommend optimization strategies for sourcing, distribution, and transportation.
- Lead high-impact change initiatives within Supply Chain and across the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of Supply Chain experience in industry, preferably in consumer goods.
- Experience leading strategy development initiatives, including consulting firm experience.
- Demonstrated experience in operational transformations to drive competitiveness and improve cost structures.
- Experience optimizing supply chain networks using technology and analytics.
- Proven ability to lead large global, multi-functional programs.
