About the position

Adobe is seeking a strategic product marketing leader for its K-12 Education segment. This role is pivotal in shaping the business and marketing strategy for the segment across all Digital Media offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business results in collaboration with various Go-to-Market cross-functional teams and product groups. This position is highly visible, reflecting Adobe's significant investment in this customer segment, which presents a wealth of untapped opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Adobe's core categories, including creativity, design, and documents, and will demonstrate ownership of the business while delivering tangible results in a matrixed environment. In this role, you will define and drive the overall marketing strategy for the K-12 Education sector. You will partner closely with different Digital Media product management teams to define product strategy and innovation across the portfolio. Additionally, you will lead strategic updates and discussions with senior executives, develop a deep understanding of the K-12 business, and become an expert in market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and growth drivers in the education space. You will also lead the annual planning process for the business, delivering a three-year growth strategy and business plan while coaching a growing team of product marketing leaders to drive impact. Your responsibilities will include defining critical metrics for measuring success across product marketing activities, leading a cross-functional team to deliver on key success factors across all aspects of the Go-to-Market strategy, and establishing a clear vision for the business and Go-to-Market strategy required to succeed in each category. This encompasses total addressable market (TAM), market share, competitive assessments, target audience definitions, customer needs, pricing and packaging strategies, and engagement strategies. As a change agent, you will guide teams forward in a rapidly evolving environment, ensuring that Adobe remains at the forefront of the education sector.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall Education K-12 marketing strategy.
  • Partner closely with different DME product management teams on defining product strategy and innovation cross-portfolio.
  • Drive strategic updates and discussions with senior executives.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the K-12 business, content quality, and supported content types.
  • Lead the annual planning process for the business and deliver the 3-year growth strategy and business plan.
  • Lead a growing team of product marketing leaders, coaching them to drive impact.
  • Define the critical metrics for measuring success across product marketing activities.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to deliver on key success factors across all aspects of the GTM Strategy.
  • Define a clear vision for the business and GTM strategy required to win in each category.
  • Act as a change agent, guiding teams forward in a rapidly evolving environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of fifteen years of industry experience in product marketing management.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of teachers and students for creativity and productivity in educational settings.
  • Proven experience in driving demand, traffic, and adoption of software products.
  • Passionate about Generative AI and its impact on education.
  • Self-starter and proactive leader with experience building highly effective teams.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, influencing skills, and leadership ability in matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to set short and long-term strategic priorities.
