About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at Altus Group is responsible for managing and growing the Product Marketing function, reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Marketing. This role involves leading a team to enhance the customer journey through strategic messaging, positioning, and promotional strategies aimed at driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The Director will also provide market intelligence to inform business and product strategies, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a talented team responsible for conducting thorough market analysis and gathering competitive intelligence.
  • Develop product and launch positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies.
  • Track progress against key results and balance priorities with strategic initiatives.
  • Coach team members on developing product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers.
  • Stay connected to industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs through research and in-depth segment analysis.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform commercial strategies and messaging that deliver client value.
  • Prioritize campaign and enablement materials needed to support or launch capabilities.
  • Support go-to-market programs through collaboration with product, lines of business leaders, research, and marketing teams.
  • Lead multiple projects concurrently and influence cross-functional partners across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience.
  • Background in Commercial Real Estate, Proptech, Financial Services, Fintech, or professional services.
  • Track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in being commercially minded.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building a highly engaged and collaborative team.
  • Experience in value proposition development, product research, product launches, and informing campaign strategy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with all levels within an organization.
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to convey complex ideas to relevant internal and external audiences.
