About the position

The role is for a strategic leader at NinjaOne who will drive product direction, market strategy, and technical innovation. This position requires a builder's mindset and the ability to collaborate with various teams to influence market perception and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing and management, particularly in the IT or security industries, and will be responsible for leading a high-performing team while managing product launches and market engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing, high-impact team, fostering collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Business Development.
  • Collaborate with downstream marketing to align on market strategy and ensure continuity throughout the GTM process.
  • Design and operationalize an advanced market intelligence framework integrating market research and competitive analysis.
  • Uncover emerging trends and opportunities to steer product direction and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with the GTM PMM function to refine campaigns and enhance market engagement.
  • Develop strategic launch frameworks outlining value propositions and competitive positioning.
  • Manage the product release process and drive cross-functional implementation plans.
  • Develop business plans for new products, including market analysis and commercialization strategies.
  • Serve as a recognized SME and public spokesperson for the product at industry events and conferences.
  • Develop scalable processes and KPIs to support rapid product growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product marketing and product management experience.
  • 2+ years focused on downstream product marketing within IT or security industries.
  • 4+ years of people leadership in product marketing or product management.
  • MSP domain expertise and IT management experience, including endpoint products and vulnerability management.
  • Proven track record of scaling startups through hypergrowth and building scalable processes.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in product decisions and go-to-market success.

  • Experience as a former Product Manager turned Product Marketing Manager.
  • Recognized SME in IT management with contributions to thought leadership.
  • Public speaking experience at conferences and industry events.
