About the position

ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Product Portfolio, NextGen. This role is pivotal in steering the product development and execution of our next-generation and key adjacent product portfolio strategy within the National Accounts Global Product and Technology Organization. The successful candidate will partner with multiple program, portfolio, and enterprise leaders to set and drive client delivery, ensuring that technology is effectively integrated to achieve software-based solutions that support ADP's company goals across all business units and products. In this position, you will lead and manage initiatives that involve technology integration, promoting teamwork, fostering quality awareness, and establishing and maintaining relationships. You will be responsible for motivating, rewarding, and recognizing achievements within your team, while also coaching and counseling team members to maintain high morale. Your leadership will contribute to the development of departmental plans and priorities, addressing resource and operational challenges, and influencing how team members allocate their time. You will increase engagement and collaboration with business stakeholders, development leaders from other business units, and clients to capture both functional and non-functional requirements. Clear and timely communication with executive staff and key stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to raise risks and issues early in the program to facilitate informed decision-making. This role requires a leader who can mentor talent and develop a people strategy that ensures the right engineering and technology talent is in place to meet current and future market demands. You will promote a high-performing and engaging team culture that focuses on acquiring, developing, and retaining talent at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Steer product development and execution of the next-generation product portfolio strategy.
  • Partner with program, portfolio, and enterprise leaders to drive client delivery.
  • Lead initiatives involving technology integration to achieve software-based solutions.
  • Promote teamwork and foster quality awareness within the team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or related industry expertise.
  • 10+ years of product development experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing product portfolio strategies.
  • Experience managing multiple reporting levels and developing talent.
  • Knowledge of product development platforms and B2B SaaS products.
  • Client-centric focus with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
