About the position

Cribl is seeking a Strategic Sales Leader to recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5-7 sales leaders across a specific geography. This remote-first role is integral to the company's growth, focusing on building a strong sales team, developing business plans to exceed sales goals, and managing the sales ecosystem from lead generation to closing. The position reports to the VP of Enterprise Sales and is part of a proven leadership team responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5-7 Strategic Sales Leaders across a specific geography.
  • Build and develop sales leaders within Cribl.
  • Create a business plan to overachieve sales goals.
  • Manage and maintain the sales ecosystem from generating leads through to closing sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading Strategic sales teams.
  • A successful track record of annual overachievement in sales.
  • Experience leading sales leaders who sell through security channel partners.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Experience with SAAS sales, particularly in cloud, logs, metrics, IT operations, and security.
  • Background in successfully selling large deals to large enterprises (Fortune 1000).
  • Familiarity with the MEDDIC sales methodology.
  • Experience developing pipeline and opening new accounts.
