About the position

The Sr Director of Sales at Cribl is a leadership role focused on recruiting, developing, and leading a team of Strategic Sales Leaders. This position is crucial for driving sales growth and managing the sales ecosystem from lead generation to closing deals. The role emphasizes collaboration, customer focus, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles, particularly in the SaaS and security sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop and lead a team of 5-7 Strategic Sales Leaders across a specific geography
  • Develop a business plan to overachieve sales goals
  • Manage and maintain the sales ecosystem from generating leads through closing
  • Play a key role in developing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of leading Strategic sales teams
  • A successful track record of overachievement annually
  • Experience leading sales leaders who sell through security channel partners
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles
  • Experience with SaaS sales - cloud, logs, metrics, IT operations and security
  • Background of successfully selling large deals to large enterprises (Fortune 1000)
  • Background using MEDDIC
  • Experience developing pipeline and opening new accounts
