About the position

Cribl is seeking a remote Strategic Sales Leader to recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5-7 sales leaders across a specific geography. This role is crucial in building sales leaders within Cribl and developing a business plan to exceed sales goals. The successful candidate will manage the entire sales ecosystem from lead generation to closing, contributing to the go-to-market strategy as part of a proven leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5-7 Strategic Sales Leaders across a specific geography.
  • Build and develop sales leaders within Cribl.
  • Create a business plan to overachieve sales goals.
  • Manage and maintain the sales ecosystem from generating leads through to closing sales.
  • Contribute to the development of the go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading strategic sales teams.
  • Proven track record of annual overachievement in sales.
  • Experience leading sales leaders who sell through security channel partners.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Experience with SaaS sales, particularly in cloud, logs, metrics, IT operations, and security.
  • Background in successfully selling large deals to large enterprises (Fortune 1000).
  • Familiarity with the MEDDIC sales methodology.
  • Experience developing pipeline and opening new accounts.
