About the position

The Sr. Director - Segment Marketing & Enablement for Global Enterprise Americas at Verizon is responsible for leading the development and execution of segment-specific marketing and sales enablement programs. This role involves collaborating with the Verizon Business Group Marketing Team to enhance customer engagement and drive sales performance through strategic marketing initiatives. The Senior Director will oversee a team, manage marketing plans and budgets, and ensure alignment with sales and revenue targets while fostering a collaborative environment across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Verizon Business Group Marketing Team to develop segment-specific marketing and sales enablement programs.
  • Guide a team providing direct customer and sales marketing support.
  • Lead segment marketing activation planning and execution tactics.
  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for the Global Enterprise Americas Sales Leadership Team.
  • Establish campaign targeting, base strategy, and segmentation strategy.
  • Develop and operationalize programs that drive sales and revenue.
  • Analyze campaign performance to determine impact and recommend next steps.
  • Drive adoption of the Verizon Velocity Selling sales process in GE Americas.
  • Create and own segment marketing plans and budget for Global Enterprise Americas.
  • Translate enterprise industry landscape and key issues into marketing plans.
  • Own the Enterprise Americas Account Based Marketing plans and drive accountability for delivering programs.
  • Lead sales communications and go-to-market activities for Global Enterprise Americas.
  • Collaborate with the Event Marketing team for customer engagement at events and trade shows.
  • Streamline messaging and content needed for sales based on key priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field; Master's degree/MBA strongly desired.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level.
  • Demonstrated record of direct management experience of managers and individual contributors.
  • Understanding of key technologies relevant to the Enterprise technology and communications landscape.
  • Knowledge of ABM Marketing and ability to grow ABM marketing approach for Global Enterprise.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategies for creating new customer markets through various marketing programs.
  • Ability to analyze segment-critical KPI information and translate it into proactive and reactive marketing strategies.
