About the position
The Senior Director of Tech Product Management for Merchandising at BJ's Wholesale Club is responsible for establishing and executing the strategy for merchandising products. This role involves aligning technology with merchandising strategies, optimizing product assortments, and enhancing merchant efficiency to drive revenue growth. The position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to foster relationships that enhance MerchTech capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Merchandising teams to align technology with strategic goals.
- Advocate for Merchandising needs across IT products and services.
- Use data insights to identify opportunities and support decisions.
- Analyze current processes and technology to find improvement areas.
- Create a strategic roadmap and manage product backlogs.
- Lead development, deployment, and optimization of MerchTech products.
- Define and measure KPIs for product adoption and performance.
- Promote cross-departmental collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven product management experience in retail.
- BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years in product management, Merchandising, or related fields.
- Strong data analysis and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in strategy development and execution.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive organizational change.
