About the position

The Senior Director of Technology Innovation will lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and business partnerships within the organization, focusing on analytics and workflow automation using AI. This role involves designing operational performance improvement solutions, documenting technology programs, and collaborating with internal and external partners to leverage technologies for transformative value in Digital Realty's global data center platform.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new technologies, business partnerships, and programs for implementation within the organization, focusing on analytics and workflow automation using AI.
• Design end-to-end operational performance improvement and scaling solutions, integrating process redesign, automation, and AI.
• Document and present the overall state of multiple technology programs and projects, including machine learning and process automation, to management.
• Interface with internal and external partners to translate technologies into transformative value for Digital Realty's global data center platform.
• Serve as a resource in AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, system design, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to recommend and design solutions that meet Digital Realty's needs.
• Partner with IT and product management to support proofs of concept and assist with implementing solutions into production.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand their goals and design solutions to enable change.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading the delivery of enterprise-wide programs.
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies, particularly machine learning, AI, and automation to improve workflows and operational performance.
• Experience driving successful platform adoption programs and demonstrating the business impact of such initiatives.
• Ability to operate independently while influencing and mobilizing teams to deliver impactful results.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience working in a global service provider or cloud environment is a plus.
