About the position

The Senior Director, Growth will play a pivotal role in acquiring new clients for Material, focusing on enhancing the customer experience and digital solutions business. This strategic leader will drive revenue growth by leveraging their expertise in cloud, data, and integration technologies, while fostering strong customer relationships and identifying high-value opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the growth of customer experience and digital solutions business.
  • Identify potential customers based on industry connections and personal network.
  • Develop marketing strategies to initiate sales conversations focused on Customer Experience, Product Engineering, or Tech.
  • Utilize understanding of digital transformation tenets including experience design and customer journey.
  • Plan and coordinate technology solutions with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Develop and lead Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in partnership with leadership and partners.
  • Establish enduring client connections through advanced solutioning sales expertise.
  • Propose innovative solutions to complex client challenges using technology sales experience.
  • Generate new business opportunities through lead follow-up and prospecting.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in enterprise/B2B sales processes across Cloud, Data, or Integration Technologies.
  • 10+ years of experience in Customer Experience Technologies, product engineering, Data & Cloud.
  • Understanding of Cloud offerings for business and technical use cases.
  • Conversant with SRE, Cloud Native Stacks, Cloud Migration Strategies, and data platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in technology sales.
  • Ability to lead the consultative sales process and close new business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Full-cycle sales process knowledge and experience with Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
