About the position

The Sr. Director of Total Rewards is a pivotal role within the People leadership team, responsible for developing and leading comprehensive compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This position oversees global total rewards programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial performance while managing various employee benefits and compensation structures.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement global total rewards strategies, including compensation, benefits, equity, and recognition programs.
  • Develop competitive compensation structures, including base salary, variable pay, and executive compensation plans.
  • Oversee the company's benefits programs, ensuring offerings are attractive and cost-effective.
  • Design and manage equity compensation programs and long-term incentive plans.
  • Conduct regular competitive market analyses to ensure compensation and benefits are competitive.
  • Ensure total rewards programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead efforts to communicate total rewards programs to employees and leaders.
  • Manage relationships with external compensation and benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants.
  • Lead the team responsible for administering the company's total rewards programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR, focusing on total rewards, compensation, and benefits.
  • Proven experience at the leadership level, managing global total rewards programs.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures, salary survey systems, executive compensation, and employee benefits administration.
  • Expertise in data analysis and financial modeling for compensation and benefits plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing HR teams, including coaching and mentoring.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
