About the position

The Senior Director, Design & Experience will lead the enterprise experience and design initiatives at Jewelers Mutual, ensuring a consistent, seamless, and joyful end-to-end experience for customers. This role involves managing an internal team and agency relationships to deliver on strategic and tactical efforts, focusing on both digital and physical customer journeys. The position is pivotal in maintaining brand integrity and usability across all customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, Customer Research, and other stakeholders to support strategic roadmaps for personalized customer experiences.
• Champion omnichannel integrated solutions that drive efficiency across various platforms.
• Serve as a strategic thought leader, collaborating with partners to define the strategic roadmap.
• Socialize concepts and meet with business leaders and customers to develop new products and features, solicit ideas, and gather feedback.
• Manage and standardize design language and usability testing processes to support ongoing improvements and customer feedback integration.
• Build, measure, and learn through rapid prototyping and testing with real users, using data to inform strategic decisions.
• Foster a positive team environment by spreading energy and a success mentality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years leading CX, UX, Product, Digital, and/or Design teams.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a passion for team development.
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized with a customer-first mentality.
• Strong communication skills to deliver consistent brand voice across channels.
• Deep skill set in industry-standard design applications and MS Office; working knowledge of project management applications like JIRA and DevOps.
