About the position

Entrust Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Senior Technical Lead to guide engineering disciplines and ensure successful project execution. This role involves leading and mentoring design teams, providing technical guidance on complex projects, and collaborating with Project Managers to enhance processes. The position emphasizes maintaining high technical expertise, identifying training needs, and fostering relationships with key engineers and officials. The role also includes implementing quality control systems and integrating innovative tools to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineering design teams on medium and large complex projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and make authoritative decisions impacting design outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and technical management to enhance processes and designs.
  • Identify training needs and organize relevant programs for continuous learning.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key engineers and officials in other organizations.
  • Implement and monitor quality control systems in line with company policies.
  • Lead the training and development of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence and utilize tools to enhance operations.

Requirements

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of P&ID.
  • In-depth knowledge of HAC and ability to develop HAC designations.
  • Understanding of grounding and layout at a site.
  • Ability to develop one line and three line diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to layout raceways, wireways, conduit, duct banks, and cable trays.
  • Working knowledge of Transformers, MCC, and Switchgears.
  • Industrial design experience and knowledge of electrical equipment.
  • Ability to perform Load flow, short circuit analysis, and understand motor starting concepts.
  • Thorough knowledge of protective relays.
  • Experience developing technical specifications for equipment.
  • Working knowledge of NEC.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of ETAP, SKM software for Arc Flash studies.
