About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer/Senior Technical Lead at Entrust Solutions Group is a pivotal role focused on guiding engineering disciplines and ensuring successful project execution. This position involves leading and mentoring engineering design teams, providing technical guidance on complex projects, and maintaining high technical expertise in electrical engineering within gas facilities. The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers and technical management, as well as the integration of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence to enhance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineering design teams on medium and large complex projects.
  • Provide technical guidance on hazardous area classification (HAC) compliance and design.
  • Design grounding systems, electrical diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Implement wiring design and oversee its implementation.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and technical management to enhance processes and designs.
  • Identify training needs and organize relevant programs for continuous learning.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key engineers and officials in other organizations.
  • Implement and monitor quality control systems in line with company policies.
  • Lead the training and development of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering within gas facilities or related industries.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Experience with communication protocols, instrumentation, and controls systems.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ETAP, SKM for Arc Flash studies.
  • Extensive SCADA knowledge.
  • Extensive working knowledge of NFPA 70 - National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Knowledge of command and feedback signals.
