About the position

The Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer - Studio 5000 is responsible for PLC and HMI programming and design, specifically utilizing Allen Bradley Studio 5000. This role involves working with various control systems in industries such as water/wastewater, oil/gas, food & beverage, and data centers. The position offers an outstanding opportunity to work with a leading automation systems integrator in America, focusing on control systems integration without immediate travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programming and design using Studio 5000, Control Logix, and Compact Logix.
• Design and program HMI/SCADA systems, preferably with Wonderware (AVEVA).
• Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Work on control systems for water/wastewater, oil/gas, food & beverage, and data centers.
• Utilize knowledge of VFD's, I/O's, and P&ID's in system designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and design with Studio 5000, Control Logix, and Compact Logix.
• Experience in HMI/SCADA programming and design, preferably with Wonderware (AVEVA).
• Ability to program other PLCs and HMIs from scratch.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in water/wastewater, oil/gas, food & beverage, or data centers industries.
• Strong client interaction skills.
