Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical switchgear systems.
- Create innovative solutions for power distribution equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and provide technical leadership to a team of engineers.
- Individually contribute to product development and engineering by executing advanced tasks and processes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while responding to a fast-moving business environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or a related field; Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in electrical design, focusing on switchgear and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Expert in switchgear design, electrical protection systems, and control panel design.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP).
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven project management experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar.
- Experience with advanced switchgear technologies and smart grid systems.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as digital substations and IoT applications.
