About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer position is a full-time role focused on designing and developing electrical systems for various clients, including industrial, municipal, healthcare, commercial, retail, and educational sectors. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with significant experience in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, access control, network, and instrumentation and control systems. The position involves hands-on development of construction documents, supervising other engineers, and providing construction administration services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for various projects.
• Create construction documents including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Supervise and mentor other electrical engineers and designers.
• Conduct field investigations for data gathering.
• Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Provide construction administration services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or equivalent).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working towards licensure.
• Knowledge of the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office products, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software.
