KLA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Design to join our dynamic team in Ann Arbor. In this position, you will be responsible for developing PCBA-based product features across various KLA products, including analog, communications, and digital signal processing. You will tackle complex engineering challenges by characterizing components, designing and prototyping analog front-end circuits, generating schematics, directing PCB layout, and debugging PCBAs in the lab. Your role will also involve defining test criteria, implementing test plans on functional prototypes, and ensuring the reliability and safety of designed subsystems. Collaboration with other teams will be essential to develop PCBA solutions and ensure successful integration testing at both the subsystem and system levels. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and support to junior electrical design engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. This position requires flexibility for domestic and international travel based on business needs, and you will be expected to work onsite at least three days per week.
